TRAFFIC is gridlocked on the A40 after reports of a crash at Cassington.
Vehicles are said to be queuing on both sides back to Wolvercote Roundabout and Eynsham.
Other main roads out of Oxford are also looking busy this evening.
Vehicles are now queuing for two miles on the A44 Woodstock Road westbound between Langford Lane at Bladon and Woodstock.
There is slow traffic on the A4165 Banbury Road northbound, between the B4495 Marston Ferry Road and the A40 North Way at the Cutteslowe roundabout.
Traffic is also building on the A4142 Eastern by-pass road northbound, between Horspath Road and the A40 London Road.
And the A40 Northern by-pass road westbound, between the B4150 at Marston and the A4165 Banbury Road, is also congested.
Buses are also facing delays as the rush hour continues.
