Rename rugby club
Sir – London Welsh rugby now has little or no connection with either London or Wales.
Why not make a fresh start: rename the club as, say, Oxford Bulls or Oxford Academicals; play for a few seasons until they achieve some sort of stability, at the rugby ground at Hinksey, or at the University’s Iffley Road ground, instead of the soulless Kassam Stadium.
