A WOMAN was sexually assaulted in Vincent's Club, King Edward Street, Oxford, on June 13.
Police said it happened at about 11.25pm and involved a 21-year-old woman who was approached by a man in the sports club.
Officers said the man then touched the victim inappropriately under her dress.
He is described as white, slim, with short curly light brown or blond hair, about 5ft 8ins and in his early twenties.
He was wearing a pink shirt and possibly a dark coloured tie.
Investigating officer, PC Paul Jones said: “The incident has understandably left the victim extremely shocked and distraught."
Vincent's Club is a sports club predominantly but not exclusively for Oxford Blues at Oxford University.
It was founded in 1863 by the oarsman Walter Bradford Woodgate of Brasenose College, Oxford, and he was the first president of the club.
