THREE people have been taken to hospital following a two vehicle collision on the A34.

Three ambulance crews assessed and treated a woman in her 60s, a woman in her 30s and one other patient before taking them the John Radcliffe Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The crash happened on the A34 northbound between Weston-On-The-Green and the M40 junction 9 at Bicester shortly after 3pm.

The road was closed for almost two hours but it has now reopened. There are still delays and traffic is backed up all the way along the A34 to the Peartree Interchange.
