THREE men will be interviewed by police today after reports of people standing on the roof of the Virgin Store in Cornmarket Street this morning.
Police and fire services were called out to the street to reports of the men being sighted on top of the building.
Thames Valley Police spokeswoman Charlotte Redman said: “At 1.10am we were called to reports of three men on the roof of the Virgin store in Cornmarket Street, Oxford.
“The three men were later collected having come down and all will be interviewed at the station today.
“There have been no arrests.”
Fire duty officer Gabby Heycock said they were called to assist police at the incident.
He said: “We were called out at 1.20am to assist TVP to help remove individuals from a roof in Cornmarket Street.
“We pitched our ladder and took one person down from the roof.”
