ABINGDON and Witney College students have been transported back to the 1960s as part of their art and design exhibition.
The Curiosities exhibition of artwork by students at theAbingdon campus included work by Level 2 Art & Design and Photography students.
Beth Goodway, 17, said: “My small-scale 1960s replica shop model took me three weeks to make and required a lot of research into the era.
“I’ve always been interested in the sixties. I love the fashion, the hairstyles and the art.”
Work included photography, animation, fashion, sculpture, model-making, graphics and illustration, with most of the students exhibiting coming to the end of their first year at college.
Miss Goodway added: “I now think I might go to university to pursue art and the college has really helped me to developing my skills. The college is great.”
An exhibition showcasing work from students on the Foundation Diploma in Art and Design course opens today and continues until Friday.
