Street names being considered for Barton Park development
STREET names for the Barton Park development are being considered by emergency services before getting final approval.
A total of 885 homes will be built on the land west of Barton and two options for the main street name have been chosen.
Barton Manor Road and Barton Park Road are the options to be decided on by Oxford City Council, once the names have been approved by the emergency services and Royal Mail.
Work on Oxford’s biggest housing development in a generation started last month and work on the A40 junction, which will provide access to the main street, is due to start in September.
