A CYCLIST remains in a life-threatening condition after a collision in Headington.
Thames Valley Police said the woman was cycling at the crossroads of Warneford Lane, Roosevelt Drive, Gypsy Lane and Old Road at 6.45am yesterday.
Officers said she was left with serious head injuries after she was involved in a collision with a silver Toyota Prius.
Police said the woman, in her thirties, remains in a life-threatening condition at the John Radcliffe Hospital.
They said the driver of the car stopped at the scene and was not injured.
Sgt Mark Ponting, from the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened or who saw the car and bicycle travelling prior to the collision.
“If you have any information, no matter how insignificant you think it is, please call police.”
