Rocking: Barry England at the Lord Mayor’s Parade in 1987
ONE of the photographs from the Lord Mayor’s Parade (Memory Lane, May 25) was of Barry England dressed in his rock and roll outfit complete with guitar.
Barry was the only man in the Jericho Rejects. As a group, we entered the parade on many happy and enjoyable times.
One year, we came first with our float – the theme was Let’s make music.
The money collected helped towards a Christmas Party for seniors of Jericho.
