IT TOOK Jack Bligh four-and-a-half years to complete this model traction engine, a third the size of the real thing.
It was one of numerous models at the Old Steamers Traction Engine Club’s fourth annual show at Cowley Community Centre in 1980.
Mr Bligh, 74, said: “It’s like a jigsaw puzzle. You start with a few bits and pieces and gradually build on them until you have to go on and finish it.”
