ALL this talk about people not turning up for their appointments at the hospital – I think it is not all the patients’ fault.
My daughter has had her urology appointment cancelled three times.
She has a very bad infection and is off work.
So when she received the third cancellation letter on Saturday with no other appointment, she phoned the hospital and waited nearly half-anhour to be told the appointment is on Friday and she should have had another letter to cancel the cancelled letter.
If she had not phoned up, she would have taken for granted that it was cancelled.
So don’t blame all the patients.
