Residents in Langford and areas of Launton have set up an online community after “at least 90 households” have been lumbered with massive water bills.
According to residents in the Southern area of Bicester, water bills issued last month are “double, if not triple” what Thames Water customers paid in the same period between 2013 and 2014.
Kevin Harris’ bill hit £204 for December 2014 and May 2015, when it was only £68 between 2013 and 2014. He said: “This is an area where there are two noted leaks.”
Thames Water is investigating the matter.
