IN response to The Issue on Wednesday, June 10, about the allowance system featuring councillors Margaret Davies and Bev Clark. It is the same old story from councillors about how they do so much for the community and how they like to serve and make a different for us poor people.
They are like all political people (councillors especially). There is always a nice little earner to be made off the backs of the residents etc. they say they are supporting.
Why waste good money on these people if there is money the councils have to spare?
Make good use of it instead of lining the pockets of these pretend do-gooders.
“Get rid of them” and “save money”.
If you see a problem, report it. If it is that bad, it will be sorted.
And remember, yes, they do want allowances because it is the “icing on the cake” on top of their nice little earner.
