A group of Cowley primary school children are hoping to lobby the Oxford East MP to tackle climate change.

Children from SS Mary and John Primary School will give Labour MP Andrew Smith a letter as part of the Climate Coalition Climate Change Campaign tomorrow.

The nationwide group hopes to influence the government to create more sustainable policies which will protect the environment, wildlife and ensure that temperature rise does not exceed 2°C worldwide.

Supporters of the campaign include Cowley-based charity Oxfam.
