A MAN tried to break into Ducklington service station by smashing thorugh a pane of glass in a door on Thursday morning, police said.
At around 1.25am a man attempted to smash the bottom pane of a glass door but was unable to break through, according to officers.
He then threatened a member of staff through the serving window at the garage in Ducklington Lane, Thames Valley Police said.
The offender was described as wearing a balaclava, dark clothing and was carrying a brown satchel.
Det Con Paddy O’Grady from Banbury police station said: "This is a busy garage attended throughout the night. If anyone has any information or witnessed the offender please contact police."
