Three people have been arrested after a cyclist died following a hit-and-run near Wallingford last Thursday.
Thames Valley Police said a man in his 50s from Wallingford sustained serious injuries after being involved in a crash with a dark-coloured Kia car at about 10pm on June 4.
He was taken to the John Radcliffe hospital but died as a result of his injuries on Tuesday.
Police said the man left the train station in Cholsey on June 6 on his bike and cycled along the Wallingford Road towards Wallingford.
He was then involved in a collision with a dark-coloured Kia travelling in the same direction.
The car failed to stop after the crash, but police believe they have now identified it.
Three people were arrested on Friday, June 5 in connection with the incident.
A 22-year-old woman from Wallingford was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, driving a vehicle which failed to stop at a collision and perverting course of justice. She has been bailed to July 21.
A 45-year-old man from Didcot has been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice and bailed until July 21.
A 27-year-old woman from Didcot was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, driving a vehicle which failed to stop at a collision, perverting course of justice and driving while over the alcohol limit and has been bailed until July 21.
