BICESTER Village Station will open in October after work was completed today.
Two new platforms and a rebuilt car park have been the main works that have formed the redevelopment of the controversially-named station.
Once open, two trains an hour will run to London from Bicester Village station with a fastest journey time of 46 minutes at peak times.
Managing director at Chiltern Railways Rob Brighouse said: "The team has been working exceptionally hard to reach this significant milestone.
"We’re getting ever closer to opening the new Oxford Parkway to London Marylebone rail link and Bicester Village station on Monday October, 26 2015.
"The line is the first new rail link between a major British city and London for over 100 years and will deliver significant economic benefit to the region."
