TWO men have been charged in connection with drugs and assault offences, police have said.
Officers said Dexter Williams, 26, of Fairacres Road, Oxford, was charged on June 5 with one count of grievous bodily harm with intent and one count of offering to supply crack cocaine.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on June 6 where he was remanded again and is due to appear at Oxford Crown Court on June 19.
Callum Ryland-Palmer, 20, of Dunnock Way, Oxford, was charged on June5 with one count of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A – Heroin.
He was remanded in custody and appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on June 6 where he pleaded guilty.
He was remanded again and will be sentenced on June 30 at Oxford Crown Court.
The charges relate to an incident on May 10 in Butterwyke Place, Oxford, when a 23-year-old man was assaulted.
