Is this the real face of Shakespeare?
Historians claim to have discovered the only portrait of William Shakespeare made in his lifetime.
The image was identified by botanist and historian Mark Griffiths in the first edition of a 16th-century book on plants.
He then consulted the help of Oxford University historian Edward Wilson, an emeritus fellow of Worcester College and expert in medieval literature.
Mr Wilson said he and Mr Griffiths had spent five years consulting Shakespeare scholars before revealing the portrait.
