A man arrested in connection with a rape in Banbury Road, Kidlington, has been released without charge.

The 24-year-old, from Kidlington, was arrested on November 24 after the attack that was reported to have taken place in the car park of the Black Bull pub at about 2am the previous day.

A woman had taken a bus from Oxford to Kidlington and got off near the pub.

Police said her attacker got off at the same time.

The 24-year-old was bailed until January 7 and was then rebailed until February 27 and then again until Monday, when he was released.
