HARCOURT Arboretum should be open tomorrow after closing today because of strong winds.
The arboretum and botanical gardens, just off the A4074 in Nuneham Courtenay, closed after the Met Office forecast gusts of up to 47mph across the county.
Curator Ben Jones said: "It's just a precaution we take, we have had trees come down before.
"It's standard procedure to close if there are gusts of 40mph or more predicted.
"I suppose it is slightly over-cautious but we would rather do that than have something happen."
