Two people have been injured after a light aircraft crash this morning.

The crash happened just before noon at the Shotteswell Farm airfield near Banbury.

Police said the pilot and passenger, both men, have suffered injuries but these are not believed to be life threatening.

The B4100 is currently closed in both directions and police said t may be so for some time as investigators carry out their work.

The Air Accident Investigation Branch is aware of the incident.
