  • Shaun McKenna, 46, of Northcourt Walk, Abingdon, admitted assaulting and wilfully obstructing Pc Meads in the execution of her duty at Abingdon Town Football Club, Culham Road, Abingdon, on October 12. Fined £465 and ordered to pay £75 compensation, a £36 victims’ surcharge and £100 costs.
  • Alejandro Bapista-Franca, 19, of Belfour Road, Oxford, admitted using a motor vehicle on Rymers Lane, Cowley, on May 25, without proper insurance or a proper licence. Fined £225 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Driving record endorsed with six points.
  • John Campbell, 51, of Mirfield Road, Witney, was convicted of speeding at 41mph on a 30mph stretch of Ducklington Lane at Witney on June 5. Fined £400 and ordered to pay a £40 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Hamish Crichton, 38, of Willow Drive, Bicester, admitted driving at 46mph on a 30mph stretch of Cuddesdon Road, Horspath, on May 15. The speed of 46mph was recorded by of Lastec Concept DVD system. Fined £330 and ordered to pay a £33 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Driving record endorsed with five points.
  • Arkadiusz Dampc, of Spruce Drive, Bicester, was convicted of using a mobile phone while driving on Skimmingdish Lane, Bicester, on May 3. Fined £200 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Driving record endorsed with three points.
  • Shihaib Mustafa, 34, of Reliance Way, Oxford, admitted driving at 35mph in a 30mph zone on Iffley Road, Oxford, on January 24, 2014. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with three points.
  • Craig Pitson, 29, of Hill View, Denton Hill, Cuddesdon, Oxford, was convicted of failing to give information to police which could identify a driver suspected of a driving offence in Banbury on December 27, 2013. Fined £600 and ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Driving record endorsed with six points.
  • Louise Perkins, 31, of Bassett Road, Oxford, was convicted of driving without a driving licence or insurance on Bassett Road, Headington, Oxford, on May 28. Fined £600 and ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Driving record endorsed with six points.
  • Graham Marshall, 56, of Richardson Court, Bath Street, Oxford, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards Thames Valley Police constable Smith with intent to cause fear or provoke unlawful violence on Magdalen Road, Oxford, on January 6. Given a community order with an exclusion requirement from Steppin’ Stone homeless shelter on Magdalen Road for six months. Ordered to pay £50 compensation.
  • Ian Murray, of no fixed address, admitted using threatening or abusive behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress at Banbury Market Square on October 15. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.
  • Ligiam Stefanos, 47, of Maltfield Road, Headington, admitted fraud by falsely claiming to be in employment in order to claim Jobseeker’s Allowance in Oxford on May 3, 2011, June 18, 2012, August 30, 2012, September 7, 2012, and July, 9, 2013, to claim Housing Benefit on April 25, 2011, and to claim Employment and Support Allowance on July 12, 2011. Stole a total of £14,907.23 from the public purse. Given an eight-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months. Also given a 12-month supervision requirement to be electronically monitored. Ordered to pay £85 costs.

BANBURY

  • Michael Butson, 73, of Hanover Close, Charlbury, admitted drink-driving in Chadlington on December 28. Had 70 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given an 18-month driving ban and fined £380. Ordered to pay a £38 victims’ surcharge and £85 in costs.
  • Halina Talarska, 58, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing clothing worth £94.99 from Ralph Lauren in Bicester on December 26. Also admitted stealing two purses worth £188 from Coach in Bicester on the same day. She committed the offences while on a conditional discharge for a similar offence in Berkshire in February 27 2014. Fined a total of £200 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 in costs.
  • Michael Mackay, 36, of Iffley Road, Oxford, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Sheep Street, Bicester on October 11. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £20 surcharge and £85 in costs.
  • Jayson Moore, 25, of Portland Road, Milcombe, admitted harassing a woman by sending her 10 “violent and threatening” messages in three hours in Banbury on December 17 threatening to kill her and her child. Jailed for 18 weeks and banned from contacting the victim.
  • Danny Smith, 28, of Walkers Close, Burford, admitted assault by beating. Given a six-week community order and ordered to pay £200 in compensation. Ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 in costs.
  • Demetrius Herlihy, 20, of Oxford Road, Kidlington, admitted breaching his community order by not turning up to a work appointment on December 18. Fined £100 and ordered to continue with the community order.
  • Samuel Jeffs, 23, of Prescott Close, Banbury, admitted possessing cannabis (a Class B drug) in Banbury on October 3. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 in costs.
  • Mark Trussler, 26, of School View, Banbury, admitted causing criminal damage to a front door in Rotary Way, Banbury, on January 3. Given a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £32 in compensation. Ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £50 in costs.
  • Daniel Johnson, 27, of Sandy Lane, Yarnton, admitted possessing cannabis (a Class B drug) in Bicester on November 29. He committed the offence while on a 12-month conditional discharge for a similar offence on January 6, 2014. Fined £85 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 in costs.
  • Sebastian Kozlowicz, 38, of Westminster Way, Banbury, admitted drink-driving in Banbury on January 5. Had 52 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a 14-month driving ban and fined £110. Ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 in costs.
  • John Wiley, 79, of Longfields, Bicester, admitted drink-driving in Bicester on December 14. Had 49 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a 12-month driving ban and fined £230. Ordered to pay a £23 victims’ surcharge and £85 in costs.
