THE funeral of an Oxford Railway Station staff member will be held next week.
Steve Cross, 38, who worked on the barriers at the station for eight years, died suddenly at his home in Cowley on January 10.
The service will take place on Monday, February 2 at 12pm at St Mary’s Church in Kidlington.
More than 100 people paid their respects to the father-of-two during an emotional minute’s silence at the train station earlier this month.
Candles and flowers were laid out on the station floor and his coat was hung up with hundreds of tribute messages pinned to it.
