Buses delayed around Oxford due to heavy traffic
BUSES in the city are suffering delays of up to 20 minutes, a firm has said this morning.
Oxford Bus Company said the problem was being caused by heavy traffic “in and around the city”.
Traffic this morning is heavier than usual on the Woodstock and Banbury roads in North Oxford, as well as on London Road, Cowley Road and Iffley Road in the east.
Ongoing roadworks at the Plain also mean St Clement’s Street remains closed to eastbound traffic.
