OXFORD
- Christopher Hatton, 31, of Portal Drive South, Upper Heyford, Bicester, admitted stealing seven bottles of perfume worth £175 from Wilkinsons in Bicester on October 12. Given a four-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months and told to pay £175 compensation and an £80 victims’ surcharge.
- Joseph Shallis, 49, of Canal Street, Oxford, admitted stealing a sandwich worth £4 from Marks and Spencer in Oxford in September 4. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge.
- Norman Gourley, 62, of O’Hanlon House, Luther Street, Oxford, admitted stealing a coat worth £95 from Fat Face in Market Place, Abingdon, on November 16. Given a seven-day prison sentence because his record is so bad. Also told to pay an £80 victims’ surcharge.
- Krystian Hajduk, 27, of Farmers Close, Witney, admitted causing criminal damage worth £400 to a glass panel door in Mirfield Road, Witney, on December 20. Also admitted failing to surrender to the custody of Banbury Magistrates’ Court on December 22 and obstructing PC Ian Kiffin in the execution of his duty on December 7 in Witney. Fined £310 and told to pay £200 compensation a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
BANBURY
- Jamol Mighty, 18, of West Street, Banbury, admitted knowingly assisting a child to run away. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge.
- Aaron Penfold, 26, of Shannon Road, Bicester, admitted drink-driving on the approach road to RAF Brize Norton on December 18. Had 65 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a 12-month driving ban and fined £350. Ordered to pay a £35 victims’ surcharge and £85 in costs.
- Catherine Ruddick, 47, of Farm Way, Banbury, admitted drink-driving in Bankside, Banbury on December 18. Had 71 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given an 18-month driving ban and fined £500. Ordered to pay a £50 victims’ surcharge and £85 in costs.
- Carley Lydon, 28, of Calthorpe Road, Banbury, admitted drink-driving in George Street, Bicester on December 20. Had 94 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a 42-month driving ban and fined £375. Ordered to pay £38 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.
- Frank Clarke, 54, of Padbury Drive, Banbury, admitted stealing a bottle of Bells Scotch Whisky worth £15 from a Tesco store in Bicester on November 4. Given a nine-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £15 victims’ surcharge.
- Sinead Mutasa, 39, of Bramber Close, Banbury, admitted drink-driving in Cromwell Road, Banbury on December 23. Had 78 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given an 18-month driving ban and fined £110. Ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 in costs.
- Trevor Grant, 37, of Appleby Close, Banbury, admitted stealing face creams and perfumes worth a total of £966 from Debenhams in Castle Quay, Banbury on December 14, 22 and 23. Ordered to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. Ordered to pay a total of £450 in compensation and £60 victims’ surcharge.
- Dale Bilton, 28, of Hastings Road, Banbury, was convicted of using an unlicensed vehicle on a public road, namely George Street, Banbury, on October 11. Fined £400 and ordered to pay £60 vehicle excise back duty and £90 costs.
- Nigel Bowler, 23, of Lains Court, Wolage Drive, Grove, was convicted of using an unlicensed vehicle on a public road in Oxford on October 31. Fined £200 and ordered to pay £19.17 vehicle excise back duty and £90 costs.
- Luke Carter, of Lew near Bampton, was convicted of failing to notify the Secretary of State of the transfer of a vehicle to someone other than the vehicle trader in Bampton on July 12. Fined £200 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £90 costs.
- Christopher Fensom, 28, of Westgate Court, Croft Road, Thame, was convicted of using an unlicensed vehicle on a public road, namely the A40 at Oxford, on November 1. Fined £400 and ordered to pay £68.34 vehicle excise back duty and £90 costs.
- Sean Gibson, 26, of Peat Moors, Headington, Oxford, was convicted of using an unlicensed vehicle on a public road, namely the A40 at Oxford, on November 1. Fined £400 and ordered to pay £75 vehicle excise back duty and £90 costs.
- Nicola Latton, 44, of Pound Lane, Clanfield, was convicted of using an unlicensed vehicle on a public road, namely the A40 at Oxford, on November 4. Fined £400 and ordered to pay £95.84 vehicle excise back duty and £90 costs.
- Gino Di Mare, 34, of Marsh Road, Oxford, was convicted of failing to notify the Secretary of State of the transfer of a vehicle to someone other than the vehicle trader in Oxford on July 15. Fined £200 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £90 costs.
- Mateusz Streit, 30, of Albert Street, Banbury, was convicted of keeping an unlicensed vehicle on a public road, namely George Street, Banbury, on October 16. Fined £200 and ordered to pay £19.17 vehicle excise back duty and £90 costs.
- Aaron Barnes, 24, of Prescott Avenue, Banbury, was convicted of travelling on a CrossCounty railway service between Oxford and Banbury without paying the £10.40 fare and with intent to avoid payment on June 29. Fined £400 and ordered to pay £10.40 compensation, a £40 victims’ surcharge and £125 costs.
