A CYCLIST was left with a broken back after being involved in a hit-and-run.
The collision with an unknown vehicle was on the B4009, Watlington Road, Lewknor on January 13, at about 2.30pm, police said yesterday.
Spokeswoman Connie Primmer said the 34-year-old woman was “thrown from her bicycle” and taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with two fractured vertebrae.
Pc Mark Gulliford said: “I would like to speak to the people who came to the aid of the cyclist.”
