THE red carpet was rolled out for residents at Spencer Court care home as they turned up for the premiere of their film.
The movie was made by the Order of St John Care Trust, which runs the home in Woodstock, and features residents talking about their daily lives and experiences.
Resident John Mattock was a former chief judge at the Chelsea Flower Show.
He said: “I am used to being filmed as I was a prominent figure at the Chelsea Flower Show.
“The film sends a good message.”
Order of St John Care Trust customer relationship adviser Luciano Thomas said: “For a family who sadly lost a loved one, we captured a moment in time that will be in the hearts and minds of those dearest to him.
“Residents at Spencer Court had the opportunity to be the starts of their own film and attended their own movie premiere, an experience that not many of us can lay claim to.”
The film will be shown to residents and their families.
