- Wayne Curran, 35, of Beeching Way, Wallingford, admitted fraud between August 2 and August 20 in Cowley Road, Oxford, by altering a cheque for £50 to show his name. Also admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, on March 9 in Beeching Way and committing a further offence while subject to a suspended sentence order made on February 28 by Oxford Magistrates’ Court for handling stolen goods. Fined £80 and told to pay £50 compensation and a £20 victims’ surcharge.
- Julie Baughan, 55, of Blakes Avenue, Witney, admitted speeding at 43mph in a 30mph zone in Ducklington Lane, Witney, on April 17. Fined £100 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Given four points on her driving licence.
- Kelly Best, 27, of Argosy Road, Benson, admitted speeding at 37mph in a 30mph zone in Beggarsbush Hill, Benson, on April 24. Fined £100 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Given three points on driving licence.
- Sean Baxter-Leggett, 23, of Swineburne Road, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in High Street, Oxford, on November 2. Fined £390 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
- Trevor Williams, 34, of Kiln Close, Sandford, admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, in Oxford on November 28. Fined £150 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
- Phoebe Hale, 24, of Nightingale Avenue, Greater Leys, Oxford, admitted stealing meat worth £35 from Sainsbury’s in Banbury Road, Oxford, on November 27. Also admitted stealing a bottle of Snow Leopard vodka from Waitrose in Old High Street, Headington, on January 4. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £35 compensation, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.
- Martin Radbourne, 33, of Paradise Street, Oxford, admitted stealing perfume worth £50 from Debenhams in Magdalen Street, Oxford, on November 23. Also admitted committing a further offence while subject to a suspended sentence made on October 17 by Oxford Magistrates’ Court for the theft of a bicycle. Community order made with training, employment and education requirement for five days, drug rehabilitation requirement for six months and supervision requirement. Ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge.
- Gary Rowley, 45, of Dene Road, Headington, Oxford, convicted of travelling on a railway at Oxford without paying the £44 fare on July 12. Fined £400 and told to pay £44 compensation, a £40 victims’ surcharge and £160 costs.
- Luke Alford, 25, of Drayton Road, Abingdon, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place in Abingdon on December 19. Fined £225 and told to pay a £22 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
- Rowan Clay, 32, of Church Close, Longcot, admitted making off without paying a £20 taxi fare in Church Close, on September 14. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £20 compensation, a £15 victims’ surcharge as well as £85 in costs.
- Risman Naitsoka, 34, of Peregrine Road, Oxford, was convicted of drink-driving in Horspath Driftway, Oxford, on August 7. Also convicted of driving without a licence or insurance at the same time. Had 60 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a 17-month driving ban and ordered to pay a victims’ surcharge of £20 and £300 in costs.
- Bilal Meadows, 26, of Park End, Bodicote, admitted drink-driving in George Street, Banbury, on September 7. Had 51 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a 12-month driving ban and fined £400. Ordered to pay a victims’ surcharge of £40 and £85 in costs.
- Suzanne Walker, 43, of Tyrell Close, Stanford in the Vale, Faringdon, admitted drink-driving on the A420 near Little Coxwell, near Faringdon, on September 29. Had 171mg of alcohol in 100ml of urine, above the legal limit of 107mg. Given a 36-month driving ban and told to pay a £400 fine, a £40 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
- Rakesh Singh, 18, of Elder Way, Oxford, was convicted of using or threatening unlawful violence in Park End Street, Oxford, on April 12. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a victims’ surcharge of £20 and £85 in costs.
- Rodney Brian, 36, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted common assault after beating a man in St Aldate’s, Oxford on November 22. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a victims’ surcharge of £15 and £35 in costs.
- Darlene Delizo, 18, of Harcourt Hill, Oxford, admitted stealing clothing worth £129 from Primark in Westgate, Oxford, on November 19. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a victims’ surcharge of £15 and £35 in costs.
- Clement Walters, 56, of Troy Close, Oxford, admitted stealing a bottle of Lucozade worth £1.25 from a Co-op store in Oxford on November 18. Also admitted stealing a can of Monster energy drink, worth £1, from a Co-Op in Oxford on November 10. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a victims’ surcharge of £15 and £35 in costs.
- Alison Barcley, 47, of Mackenzie Avenue, Milton, admitted drink-driving in Trenchard Avenue, Milton, on December 1. Had 94 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given an 18-month community order and a three-year driving ban. Ordered to pay a victims’ surcharge of £60 and £85 costs.
- Anthony Shirley, 22, of Linnet Close, Oxford, admitted criminal damage to the door of a grey Renault Megane worth £600 in Speedwell Street, Oxford on June 14. Ordered to carry out 50 hours of unpaid work, to pay £240 in compensation and to pay a victims’ surcharge of £60.
- Shane Lawrence, 23, of Roman Fields, Chilton, admitted assault by beating in Saxton Road, Abingdon, on October 15. Ordered to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work and to pay a victims’ surcharge of £60 and £85 in costs.
