NOMINATIONS of candidates to become the new Bishop of Oxford will close today.
The Rt Rev John Pritchard retired as the Bishop of Oxford on October 31 after more than seven years in the post.
The Bishop of Dorchester, the Rt Rev Colin Fletcher, has been serving as acting Bishop of Oxford.
The Church of England’s Crown Nominations Commission is expected to meet in April and May to select the new head of the Oxford diocese.
