THE Post Office service in the Co-op store in Main Road, Long Hanborough is to be refurbished.
The Post Office counter will close for the work on Saturday January 31 at 12.30pm but the Co-op store will remain open.
When the Post Office counter re-opens on Monday, February 2, it will feature a combination counter, where a Post Office terminal will sit beside the shop’s till.
The new service will be available every day during the Co-op’s regular opening hours, which means Post Office customers can access services for 51 more hours per week than they can currently.
