Car crashes into central reservation near Watlington
MOTORISTS are facing delays on the M40 after a car crashed into the central reservation.
There is slow traffic on the M40 northbound after the incident at junction 6 with the B4009 at Watlington.
Thames Valley Police spokeswoman Francine Rodrigues said officers were called at 12.30pm to reports a “single vehicle had left the motorway”.
She added: “There does not seem to be any injuries, it’s damage only.”
One lane of the M40 was closed while emergency services recovered the vehicle.
There are reports the incident caused extensive damage to the barrier.
