THERE are mixed feelings over this year’s Leys Festival. It is great that the festival has proved so popular and has grown and grown.
But it has become a victim of its own success and now Oxfordshire Play Association has had to pull out of organising it.
Hopefully the city council will be able to put on a fantastic event this summer as its new custodian.
Anyone enjoys the festival and wants to get involved should join the steering group.
Without public participation this great festival could be left in the lurch and we will all miss out.
