- At about 7.30pm the flames reignited, possibly because of high winds
- Thames Valley Police have arrested a 47-year-old on suspicion of arson and confirmed all three fires are being linked and are suspicious.
- Oxfordshire County Council has now confirmed there are three ongoing major fires, all of which were called-in within nine minutes of each other.
- A thatched cottage went up in flames in Roke Marsh. 10 fire engines have been sent there after a call was received at 3.11am.
- At 3.20am a call was then received about a fire at a funeral parlour in Benson Lane, Crowmarsh Gifford, which four fire engines were sent to.
- And finally another call was received at the same time for a fire at South Oxfordshire District Council’s offices in Crowmarsh.
- Council leaders fear the fires could be arson, but this has not been confirmed by emergency services.
