FLOOD alerts are still in place across the county this morning.
The Environment Agency issued alerts after heavy rain was expected across Oxfordshire yesterday evening and overnight.
A Met Office weather warning has been put out for the area and a flood warning is in place for Ginge Brook, between Steventon and Sutton Courtenay, including the Milton and Drayton Mill areas.
The Environment Agency said that properties could be at risk of flooding as waters rise over the course of the day.
But alerts are still in place this morning covering Sor Brook and The Bloxham Brook, the River Evenlode from Moreton in Marsh to Cassington and the River Glyme at Wootton and Woodstock.
Alerts also remain in place for the River Ock from Watchfield to Abingdon, the Letcombe Brook at Wantage, Grove and East Hanney, as well as Langford and Wendlebury Brooks from Stratton Audley down to near Merton.
The A417 Reading Road has been flooded this morning, between Grove Park Drive, Wantage, and junctions A4130 and A4185 at Rowstock.
The A417 at East Hendred is blocked by a fallen tree.
