A FRIEND of a girl who claims she was sexually abused by a 31-year-old man has told a jury about the first time she heard the allegation.
Joseph Tsang, of Sandy Lane, Oxford, denies three counts of engaging in sexual activity with a child and two counts of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity on November 24, 2012. He has also pleaded not guilty to one count of making indecent images of children.
Yesterday a jury at Oxford Crown Court heard evidence from a friend of the complainant, who cannot be named for legal reasons.
Prosecutor Michael Roques took the girl through a statement she made to the police about what her friend had told her.
She said her friend thought she had been sexually abused The witness went on to give details of sexual activity the complainant said took place between her and “Joey” in his house.
The trial continues.
