A 39-year-old woman suffered a drug-related death, a coroner has ruled.

An inquest at Oxford Coroner’s Court heard Katrina Hyndman was found unresponsive at her Lake Street home on September 6.

Coroner’s officer Emily Williams said Ms Hyndman was admitted to the John Radcliffe Hospital but died the following day.

A toxicology report indicated “morphine and/or heroin use” and GP Dr Rob Schafer said she had a history of alcohol and opiate addiction.

Coroner Darren Salter recorded a verdict of drug-related death on Tuesday.
