FLOOD alerts were issued today by the Environment Agency for the River Thame and Chalgrove Brook.
The alert covered the county from Marsworth to Dorchester, and the agency said water levels could flood low-lying land and roads, especially in the Thame Bridge area.
After recent rainfall water levels are rising steadily which is expected to continue.
However, flooding of homes was not predicted.
Alerts for flooding have also been issued for for the river Evenlode and the river Glyme.
The alert covered Long Hanborough and Charlbury along the river Evenlode and Wootton and Woodstock along the Glyme.
Neither rivers are expected to flood homes.
