TODDLERS enjoyed new music play sessions in Oxford as organisers added more Salt Box Music classes across the city.

The classes, which use props and puppets to entertain children, are available for children aged up to four.

Founder Michelle Keating said: “The classes have become so popular that we’re simply opening more.

“They have a relaxed feel about them, but are also fun and lively and full of smiles and giggles.

“We also have carefully chosen special instruments for little hands.”

Helen Wallis attended the classes at the Seacourt Hall, Botley, three years ago with her first child Max and now takes her two-year-old Edie.

The Botley resident said: “They are great fun. The teachers are really enthusiastic and engaging with the children.”

Classes are now running in the Florence Park Community Centre on Tuesday mornings and North Oxford Association Community Centre on Friday mornings.
