Two lanes of the M40 were closed after a lorry hit an overhead matrix sign.
The accident happened on the M40 southbound between Junction 10 at Ardley and the A34 junction near Bicester on Saturday.
Queues formed after lanes were closed from 11am to 6pm.
Traffic yesterday was also affected when two lanes were closed again from 10am while the sign was removed by engineers.
