BOYS visiting Oxford’s Christ Church Cathedral School became choristers for a day in a one-off workshop.
As part of the school’s open day, boys aged seven and eight got a chance to experience what it is like in the independent school’s choir.
Seven-year-old Finbarr Jennings said: “I’ve just joined a choir and it would be good to join the choir here.”
While the boys were singing and completing craft activities on Saturday, parents went on a tour of the Brewer Street school’s boarding house and cathedral.
To finish the day the prospective pupils joined the school’s cathedral choir during Evensong for the singing of the Introit, an introduction to the Eucharist.
