A PHARMACY in Wheatley has donated £250 to a charity at the John Radcliffe Hospital after winning a prize draw.
The Midcounties Co-operative Pharmacy encouraged residents to have heart checks as part of a national All About Health campaign called 50 Hearts.
The campaign was intended to make residents across the country more aware of the importance of monitoring blood pressure and cholestoral in combatting heart disease.
The Wheatley Co-operative pharmacy manager Aleksandra Parchowska said: “It was great to see people take advantage of our blood pressure checks during the campaign.
