A man has been arrested after a 40-year-old was racially abused in Witney.
Thames Valley Police said the assault happened on Tuesday, January 6 at 1.40pm in Burwell Drive.
A 40-year-old man was approached by a stranger and racially abused before being hit twice, causing bruising to his face.
The offender is described as white, 6ft, unshaven, with a goatee beard. He was wearing a grey zipped and hooded jacket and jeans.
A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspiscion of a racially aggravated assualt.
He was released on bail until Thursday, February 12.
