AN OXFORDSHIRE teenager is calling on her whole town to wear jeans for one day to support air force families.
Carterton Community College pupil Ciara McAleese, 15, wants everyone in her community to join in the denim day on Friday, February 6.
She is hoping to raise money and awareness for the RAF Benevolent Fund, which supports air force families like those at nearby RAF Brize Norton. Both her parents served in the RAF, so the cause is close to her heart.

The Carterton resident is also hoping to raise money for 2267 Sqn Brize Norton Air Cadets, of which she is a member.
The fundraising is being organised with other members of Carterton Community Champions, which raises money for local good causes.
Ciara said: “The aim is to raise as much money as we can and see the community come together for two great charities.
She is also organising a concert by local primary school children at her college on February 12.
