Blenheim Palace in Woodstock will be hosting a special walk to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the death of Winston Churchill on Saturday, January 24.
The guided walk lasting approximately an hour, will take visitors on a journey around the palace park, looking at significant events in Churchill’s lifetime which happened at Blenheim Palace.
These include his birth, his proposal to Clementine Hosier at the Temple of Diana and his favourite spots to paint.
The walk will begin at the Flagstaff, with hot chocolate provided at 11am.
Visitors should book in advance to attend the walk which costs £3 on top of their ticket for the park and gardens.
