EVER wondered what a gritty Scottish crime thriller set to a Brit pop backing track would sound like?
You can find out at the Oxfam charity shop on Broad Street.
Crime writer Ian Rankin, who wrote the Inspector Rebus series, collaborated with Tim Burgess of the Charlatans to create the record A Little Bit of Powder.
The record is a short story written by author, performed by Misfits actor Craig Parkinson and set to music written by Mr Burgess.
They have donated a limited pressing of 500 copies to 21 Oxfam shops in Britain, one of them being the Broad Street store.
Shop manager Dage Loranca, 36, said: “It’s something very unique.
“It’s great to see work by artists that are helping fight poverty and raise awareness of Oxfam.”
Copies cost £9.99 or £14,99 with covers signed by Mr Burgess.
