A cyclist was injured in a road rage incident with a driver, say police.
The 47-year-old victim was cycling along Honeybottom Lane when he got into an argument with the driver of a silver Mercedes E Class.
Police say the driver punched the cyclist in the head, causing bruising to a cheek and a split ear.
Officers are appealing for information about the incident, which took place at 1.40pm on New Year’s Day in Honeybottom Lane, between Cothill and Boars Hill.
The driver was described as 6ft tall, with a dark beard and was wearing a grey hooded top and two looped earrings in his left ear.
