JACK Brandram went for a walk in the woods and got more than he bargained for.
The four-year-old from Wallingford was taking a stroll in the woods at Little Wittenham with family and friends on Sunday when they found a bustle of activity.
It turned out that The Earth Trust, which manages land on the hills there, was holding a fun-filled play day.
There was tree painting, mud pie-making and more at the free event in the woods.
Jack’s dad Kurk Brandram said: “We were just having a family stroll with our friends and happened to stumble upon a lovely women running these activities.

“They had the time of their lives. Jack said to me: ‘Daddy, I love this’.”
Staff achieved their ambition of eclipsing last year’s turn-out of 120 people when 150 attended.
Seven other discover and play days are being planned between February and April on dates to be fixed.
The trust looks after Wittenham Clumps and neighbouring woodland.
