COUNTY hospitals missed a key A&E waiting time target from October to December, figures released by NHS England this morning show.
A total 86.1 per cent of patients who attended Oxford’s John Radcliffe and Banbury’s Horton General hospital were discharged, admitted or transferred within four hours of arrival. The target is 95 per cent.
It meant of the 31,110 who attended, 4,327 were not seen in four hours at the hospitals, run by Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust.
