A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after ending up near the train tracks in Grove.
Ambulance crews and an air ambulance were called to Denchworth Road, Grove at 12.45pm.
British Transport Police spokesman Brian Price said: “We were called to reports of a person lying at the side of the railway line near Station Road, Grove, near Wantage, Oxfordshire.
“A woman was located by the side of the tracks.
“Medics safely removed her from the tracks and she was flown to the John Radcliffe Hospital where she will undergo an assessment.”
There are delays of up to an hour between Didcot Parkway and Swindon and First Great Western said the problems are set to last until at least 3pm.
